INDUSTRY.co.id - Depok- The Transit Oriented Development (TOD) project at Station Pondok Cina, Depok, will continue to provide "park and ride" facilities for Commuterline KRL users at the station.

 "So there will be two categories of parking, for residents and for those who use the station to go to Jakarta," said Perum Perumnas Marketing Director Muhammad Nahwir in the groundbreaking ceremony of TOD at Station Pondok Cina, Depok, Monday (2/10/2017)

Nahwir as quoted by Antara explained from eight floors of parking facilities, it provides facilities "park and ride" which can contain up to 500 four-wheeled vehicles. The rest of the parking will be given to the inhabitants of a simple apartment property (rusunami) and simple apartments owned (anami).

 "The inhabitants are divided into two rusunami and anami, and there are around 500 cars and ride facilities," he said.

He explained, based on the existing design, the four residential towers will be connected above the station. Developers are also preparing two-storey commercial area to support occupancy.

SOE Minister Rini Soemarno confirmed that the "park and ride" area for non-resident KRL users at Pondok Cina Station will still exist even though the location is in the TOD area.
