Indonesia Launches 100 GWp Solar Initiative, Starting with 14 Plants in Six Provinces

President Prabowo Subianto officially launched Indonesia’s 100-gigawatt peak (GWp) solar power program on Tuesday (Aug 25, 2026). The initiative begins with 14 solar power plants across six provinces with a combined capacity of 5.3 GWp, as part of a target to reach 100 GWp within three years.
