The Regent of Mamberamo Raya Dorinus Dasinapa when in Jayapura, Thursday (5/10/2017) said that the sea toll program priority by President Joko Widodo will answer all development challenges in Bumi Cenderawasih, especially in Mamberamo Raya.

"The people of Mamberamo Raya expect to feel the equivalence of the price of goods as in other districts in Papua or outside of Papua," he said, as quoted by Antara.

He acknowledged that the sea toll which is the concept of maritime logistics transportation initiated by President Joko Widodo will be excellent for the people in the eastern tip of Indonesia, especially in Mamberamo Raya Regency which has coastal areas up to the mountains, where in addition to being accessible by air, one of the major transportation.

"What I know is that the program aims to connect the sea ports in the archipelago, which will be connected to the freight of the vessel that was built smoothly for the distribution of goods to the remote areas," he said.

Thus, he said, the wishes coveted by the people of Mamberamo Raya to get goods with the same price in other areas can be felt, let alone the price of basic food and fuel in circulation reaches many times.
