INDUSTRY.co.id - Bekasi- Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi invites people to use electric train (KRL) for everyday transportation considering the condition of the train getting better and more comfortable.

"I invite people to choose KRL for transportation considering the increasingly comfortable, safe, and clean," said Minister of Transportation Budi Karya to the press in Bekasi, West Java, Saturday (7/10/2017)

Government already and will continue to increase the frequency of departure and arrival and facilities and infrastructure to support the train as the main mode of public transportation.

The government, he said, will also continue to increase the rail line from double track to double double track (DDT) for the commuter line.

"In the future with DDT, the number of passengers can rise from 1 million passengers to 1.5 million passengers," he said.

He hopes, by continuously building and enhanced KRL transportation, in 2019 until 2020 there are varied modes of transportation.

"In addition to railway lines, the government is also developing LRT and MRT so that people have many transportation options," he said.
