INDUSTRY.co.id - Tomohon- Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita targets as many as 5,000 people's markets spread across Indonesia until 2019.

"This year more than 1,200 people market is built, then in 2018 is expected to reach 4,000, and in 2019 can reach 5,000 people's market," said Minister in Manado, Tuesday (31/10/2017)

The minister said the reason for the development of the people's market is to provide services and increase the income of the small communities.

"Therefore, we focus on building people's markets, we want their income and prosperity to increase," he said.

The minister added, at the end of October or early November, the Ministry of Commerce will launch a regulation that provides access to prices similar to modern outlets to market traders or stalls.

Rules that, he added, will be tested in the near future.

"How to make a profit or prosper," he told the media crew.

Minister Enggartiasto Lukita during his working visit to North Sulawesi visited Pasar Beriman, dialogue with business actors and related stakeholders.
