INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The absorption of the shares of PT West Java International Airport (BIJB) as the developer of Kertajati Airport in Majalengka, West Java, by PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) will be postponed after joint operation of both companies.

West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan after a meeting with the Coordinating Minister for the Ministry of Marine Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan in Jakarta, yesterday said the cooperation is prioritized in order to keep the state budget and state budget (APBN).

"Our thought to include AP II or other parties into our shareholder (shareholder) BIJB stop first. It is important there is certainty all operations with AP II as the owner of the airport business license (BUBU)," he told the media crew.

Aher, his nickname, said that the decision was taken based on the rules if BIJB shares were owned by other parties, in that case AP II, there is no need for cooperation because the state-owned enterprise managers of the airport have become part of BIJB.

"When it happens (taking shares by AP II), the APBN can not enter the air side, which is very necessary and will greatly ease the future of BIJB," he said.

Thus, the delay of taking BIJB shares by AP II will be postponed so that the cooperation can be signed.

The joint operation between the two companies is believed to provide airport operational certainty so that it can provide confidence for new investors.

Aher added that with the completion of the operational cooperation targeted at the end of December, the capital funds from both the limited investment mutual fund (RDPT) and the banking syndication could soon be liquid.

"All parties will collect the funds when the KSO is signed, the KSO is important because without it, the disbursement of the parties to capital will be stagnant, but when the KSO is signed, the automatic capital will be liquid," he said.
