INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) stated that the operation of airlines with international routes at Soekarno-Hatta Airport has gradually moved to Terminal 3, one of them is Xiamen Airlines.

Xiamen Airlines one of the airlines incorporated in the Skyteam alliance, moved its flight operations to Terminal 3 of Soekarno Hatta International Airport on July 30, 2017.

Previously, several airlines have moved operations such as Saudi Arabian Airlines on July 10, 2017, Vietnam Airlines July 12, 2017, and Korean Airlines July 17, 2017 ago.

On its inaugural flight at Terminal 3, Xiamen Airlines will fly to Fuzhou with flight number Mf822 at 07.25 WIB carrying 123 passengers. Both flights, Mf870 0800 Jakarta- Xiamen only differ for about 35 minutes. The routes to be served are Jakarta-Xiamen and Jakarta-Fuzhou.

Branch Communication Manager Soekarno-Hatta Airport Dewandono Prasetyo Nugroho explained, the airline incorporated in Skyteam believes the move to Terminal 3 can improve the image of the airline.

"As Terminal 3 International is known as a world-class airport, Terminal 3 is equipped with modern facilities such as baggage handling system (BHS), Flight Information Display System (FIDS), Ground Support System (GSS), Visual Docking Guidance System VDGS) .soon there will be a Skytrain and train access from and to the airport, "Dewandono said through an official statement in Jakarta, Friday (28/07/2017).

According to him, the company continues to commit Soekarno-Hatta Airport as an airport hub to further support the growth of tourism in Indonesia.

PT Angkasa Pura II Main Branch Office Soekarno Hatta Airport has prepared all the facilities needed in this transfer process.

"In principle, all existing facilities in Terminal 3 is ready for use, either on the side of the airside or landside," he continued.
