INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Jasa Marga through its subsidiary, PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC) targets that the Kunciran-Cengkareng Toll Road project is completed by the end of 2018 and will be fully operational by early 2019.

"If it is completed, this 14.19 km toll road will make it easier for motorists to go to Soekarno-Hatta International Airport," said Director of PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC) Edwin Cahyadi in a press release here on Wednesday (31/1/2018) )

Edwin explained, until the final week in January 2018, the progress of the construction of the Kunciran-Cengkareng Toll Road project reached 7.81 percent. Meanwhile, from the land acquisition aspect, the project has freed 32.50 percent of all required land.

Edwin Cahyadi said the main obstacle in building the project with a total investment of Rp5.01 trillion is the effort to free the land.

"But we (PT JKC) always take the step of acceleration in the process of land acquisition, one of them is by continuing to coordinate with related parties, so that the construction process can be done without any obstacles," he said.

The Kunciran-Cengkareng Toll Road is part of the Jakarta Outer Ring Road "2 (JORR 2) Toll Road network connecting Soekarno-Hatta Airport to Cibitung.

This toll road network serves to break the flow of traffic that often experience density in the city of Jakarta, as well as in JORR.

In addition, the toll road will also connect with the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road, Kunciran-Serpong Toll Road, and Toll Road Prof Dr Sedyatmo.
