For construction work consisting of rail, station and signaling, the MOC has requested that this year be commenced and completed within 10 months. For the airport railway project is still required the acquisition of land area of ​​75,613 square meters. The MoC requested that the Mayor of Solo be able to assist in the settlement of land acquisition.

"As we know the construction of Airport Train line is owned by the Ministry of Public Works, Air Force, PT KAI and Society, after the land acquisition is completed we will do the construction and is expected in November 2018 will be completed" said Minister of Transportation Budi.

Meanwhile, to increase the capacity of Adi Soemarmo Airport has done some development.

"Adi Soemarmo Airport is being expanded and widened its terminal area from the original 13,000 will increase by 2000 M2 and will be completed by December 2017. Later the airport terminal will be expanded to double that of 13,000 M2 with 26,000 M2 with prediction to be completed by April 2019, "Said the Transportation Minister.

"Runway will be extended by 400x45M projected to be completed in October 2019, the extension of the runway up to 3000 meters must be done so that large-bodied aircraft such as Boeing 777 can land in Adi Soemarmo," added Menhub.
