INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Acset Indonusa Tbk (ACSET) closes the 2017 book year with a convincing achievement, which is marked by newly acquired contracts that are increasing sharply.

ACSET succeeded to book a new contract of Rp8, 4trillion compared to 2016 amounting to Rp3, 8triliun increased drastically equivalent to 121%. Thus the ACSET press release in Jakarta, Wednesday (28/2/2018).

The target of obtaining the contract for 2017 itself is set at Rp7.5 trillion, which in this case has also been exceeded by the Company's achievement of 12%.

Other indicators supporting this performance were ACSET revenue which increased by 68.7% to Rp3trillion from Rp1,8trillion in 2016. In addition, the Company's net profit also increased by 125.7% to Rp154.2million from Rp68.3bn year 2016 ago.

The proportion of new contracts acquired in 2017 is dominated by the infrastructure sector by 88%, and in the meantime, the foundation sector contributes the remaining 12%.

Some of the prestigious and strategic contracts entrusted to ACSET during 2017 are Jakarta-Cikampek II Toll Road, Bakauheni-Sidomulyo Toll, JORR II Toll Road Kunciran-Serpong, soil improvement work in Batang, mixed-used development at Kebon Sirih, Jepara Unit 5 power plant and 6, the foundation work of the Tendean Tower and the Light Rail Transit (LRT) Cawang-Dukuh Atas civil works which had previously entrusted its foundation work to ACSET.

Meanwhile, for business revenue, in terms of sector, the infrastructure sector contributed 63%, construction at 24%, foundation of 9% and other sectors by 4%. The infrastructure sector still plays the largest role in the Company's revenue given that this sector is the highest contributor to the total acquisition of ACSET's new contract in 2017.
