INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Wijaya Karya (Persero) won the Platinum Award in the prestigious event "Indonesia Corporate Social Responsibility Award (ICSRA) -II-2018".

The prestigious event was organized by Economic Review Magazine and Indonesia-Asia Institute in cooperation with Perbanas Institute.

ICSRA is the highest appreciation award given to the company that is considered the best in carrying out its CSR activities. Participants who follow ICSRA-II-2018 consists of SOEs, BUMD, BPD, BPR, and other private companies.

WIKA won the Platinum award in the category of SOEs after obtaining Grade A from the Jury.

WIKA's President Director, Bintang Perbowo, welcomed WIKA's victory in the ICSRA-II-2018 event. He said that WIKA has always been committed to running CSR activities as part of its social responsibility to stakeholders, so we are very grateful for the appreciation given.

"In the future, the concept of CSR activities such as WIKA Pintar, WIKA Sehat, WIKA Hijau and WIKA Peduli will be developed in order to continue to benefit the wider community and other stakeholders," said Bintang through his written writing in Jakarta on Wednesday (28/2/2018).

Meanwhile, in different places, WIKA was awarded again in the event of Indonesia Sustainability Reporting Award (ISRA) 2017 which was successfully held last weekend in Solo, Central Java.

As Director who oversees CSR and Sustainability Reporting, A.N.S Kosasih admitted proud WIKA can achieve two prestigious awards in a row.

"We are proud that WIKA won two interconnected awards in Jakarta and we won the Platinum Award for CSR and in Solo we won awards for the Top-3 Best Sustainability Report Infrastructure category," Kosasih said.
