INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Len Industri (Persero) is campaigning on the vital role of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) in developing countries, especially the vital role of Len in the middle of the strategic industry group (Natioanl Defense and HighTech Industry / NDHI).

"This campaign is very important because many people still think that the national strategic products that exist today are made by foreign countries, but that is all the work of the nation's own children," said Akhmad Zulfikri, PR Executive of PT Len Industri (Persero) in Jakarta, recently.

Akhmad argues, the core of his campaign is to convey to the easy generation that we ourselves are able to do many things and instill optimism as one of the drivers for the nation's progress.

Akhmad explained that the campaign will be distributed through the company's digital channels in the form of creative content in writing, photos and videos on social media, various internet sites, various corporate social media, internal affairs, various offline events and various leading media.

Akhmad said that the progress made by PT Len has been the construction of a railway signaling system in 128 stations across Indonesia, including airport train and train between terminals (APMS) at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

Besides, Akhmad, Len has also installed eight Mandala Combat Management System (CMS) in TNI's KRI and 734 Manpack Radio VHF Len brand has been used by the Ministry of Defense.

Len is the first and largest producer of solar modules in Indonesia, with a capacity of 35 MWp, over the period 1998-2017 and has been installed throughout the country. PT Len has also produced 3,000 units of devices to read e-ID card (e-ID card reader) and it will continue to grow.

A total of 491 television broadcasters (TV) Len has been installed in various regions of Indonesia and abroad. Len also developed the National Tactical Data Link (NTDL) on several Navy ships as well as the Army. Len also worked with BMKG to develop the Tsunami Early Warning System (TEWS).

As known, PT Len Industri (Persero) is a SOE incorporated in the National Defense and HighTech Industry (NDHI) with PT Dahana (Persero), PT Dirgantara Indonesia (Persero), PT Industri Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero), PT Industri Nuclear Indonesia (Persero) and PT Pindad (Persero).

"Because the position is in the midst of the strategic SOEs, then PT Len Industri is obliged to serve the public interest and provide benefits for the livelihood of the people and provide benefits for the country," concluded Akhmad. (Abraham Sihombing)
