INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Lion Air Group will increase its fleet by purchasing 50 units of Boeing 737 MAX 10. The purchase of this latest aircraft reaches US $ 6.24 billion or equivalent to Rp84.24 trillion.
"This purchase is a continuation of Boeing and Lion Air Group commitments at the Paris Air Show in 2017," said Lion Air Group President and CEO Edward Sirait at the signing ceremony at Grand Hyatt Jakarta on Tuesday (10/4/2018).
Edward explains, Boeing 737 MAX 10 is the latest type of aircraft that has a single aisle. In addition to sophisticated, this plane is also fuel-efficient up to 20% rather than its predecessor series the Boeing 737 MAX 9.
