This legal umbrella is targeted to be completed within two months. Director of Transportation and Multitransport Ministry of Transportation Cucu Mulyana said after the Minister of Transportation's regulation issued, applicators must register themselves as a transportation company.

Otherwise, they will be subject to administrative sanctions, fines, freezing until revocation of permits. "It is in accordance with the mandate of the law," Cucu said

Even so, he said the government will provide transition period applicators to meet the requirements of transportation companies.

Because, he thinks applicators need administrative settlement process. "It's a custom in the rules," he said.

Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi explained that his party is still coordinating between interdep. He said the Ministry of Transportation will collaborate on existing rules.

This week and last Friday (13/4) will be the ending point for online transport application provider companies to register as a transportation company, like similar companies in general.

But apparently, strong demand from the government has not received a serious response from the online transport providers, in this case Go-Jek and Grab Indonesia.
