INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The Presidential Palace of the Republic of Indonesia informed that the cancellation of one Garuda flight at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, on Friday (4/8) is not related to the Presidential plane of Indonesia-1.
Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media Secretariat of the President, Bey Machmudin, in his press release on Saturday (5/8), stated that the news mentioning the flight of the Presidential Aircraft Indonesia-1 made Garuda flight void is incorrect.
Bey revealed that Garuda flight from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, on Friday (4/8) should have departed at 21.30 WITA delayed and finally canceled.
According to Bey, the cancellation was not related to the flight of the Presidential plane of Indonesia-1 which took off from the airport at 18.20 WITA.
He also detailed President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo took off from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, at 18:20 WITA and arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta at 19.00 WIB.
Therefore, Bey said that the wide time difference clearly shows there is no relationship between Garuda flight delays with Presidential plane RI.
When Garuda flight should depart at 21.30 WITA, while Presidential plane RI has been in Halim Perdanakusuma Air Force Base Jakarta for more than one hour.
