INDUSTRY.co.id - Solo- Lion Air temporarily closed the route from Solo to the four regions, namely Lombok, Banjarmasin, Tasikmalaya, and Lampung.

Temporary closure of these four routes due to technical problems, said Area Manager Lion Air Central Java-DIY Widi Wiyanti in Solo, Friday (4/5/2018)

According to him, four flight routes have been served by its subsidiary, Wings Air.

He said there were technical problems for Wings Air plane which is a subsidiary of Lion Air in Semarang.

"The impact is for the routes that are still one rotation with the existing aircraft in Semarang for a while we are non-operational, so not all routes we close, but only four routes," he said.

According to him, from the four routes, Tasikmalaya is the newest route since it opened on 28 March 2018.

He said for the closure of the route is done as of April 25, 2018 until the time has not been determined.

He said that with the closing of the four routes Lion Air and Wings Air currently have 12 flight schedules per day from Solo, six flights to Jakarta, and one flight to Denpasar, Makassar, Balikpapan, Palangkaraya, Palembang and Batam respectively.

Meanwhile, Airport Operations and Services Department Manager of PT Angkasa Pura (AP) I Adi Soemarmo Purwanto Airport said that the airport has approached and reconfirmed to Lion Air management so that all routes served by Wings Air, operate.

"However, until now we have not been able to confirm when these routes will be opened again," he said.
