INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing (PUPR) and Toll Road Enterprises (BUJT) revealed that the integration will encourage logistic transportation using toll roads, thereby reducing the burden of arterial roads.

Thus the arterial road will always be in steady state. It will also reduce the traffic queue of arterial solid roads such as the Tanjung Priok area.

Human Capital & Development Director of PT. Hutama Karya Putut Ariwibowo said that the logistic freight felt that the current Tanjung Priok Access toll tariff of Rp 45,000 is too high, thus preferring the arterial route even if it is solid.

"The existence of this integration has been awaited and expected by entrepreneurs and owners of logistics vehicles because it will become more efficient," said Putut recently.

Meanwhile, Corporate Secretary of PT. Jasa Marga Agus Setiawan describes previous experience in applying integration to Jagorawi Toll Road.

According to Agus, currently the average travel time of riders from Bogor to Jakarta has decreased from the previous one hour to about 40-50 minutes, so it can be said there is an improvement of service.
