INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Jakarta Composite Index (IDX) fell 1.8% to 5,694.92 this week (2-6 July 2018) compared to the previous week's position at 5,799.23.

The weakening of JCI was also followed by the decline in market capitalization of BEI by 1.7% to IDR6,401.32 trillion position this week compared to the previous week's position at 6,511.73 trillion.

The average value of daily trading transactions in the last week was eroded 18.12% to Rp6, 52 trillion compared to the previous week amounting to Rp7, 97 trillion. The average daily transaction volume over the past week also declined by 21.85% to 8.05 billion units compared to 10.31 billion units in the previous week.

The average daily trading frequency of stock trading this week fell 14.51% to 358,360 transactions compared to 419,200 transactions in the previous week.

Meanwhile, foreign investors recorded net sales in the last week worth Rp 1.32 trillion, so that throughout 2018, the net selling value of foreign investors has reached Rp50.75 trillion. (Abraham Sihombing)
