INDUSTRY.co.id - Bojonegoro - Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM) Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga said the ultra-micro credit program (Umi) launched by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani today is for the distribution of welfare.

"The ultra-micro credit launched by Finance Minister Sri Mulyani today for the distribution of community welfare, as well as supporting the credit program of people's business (KUR) through banking channeling," he said in Bojonegoro, Monday (14/08/2017)

Speaking in the ministry synergy event in appointing the poor of financial inclusion, according to him, with the existence of ultra micro credit program can reduce poverty rate because society can be independent with its business.

"People now can borrow without grace through ultra micro credit program maximum of Rp10 million to open a business," he said, asserted.

The government, he said, under President Joko Widodo is currently focusing on infrastructure development, such as building ports, airports, toll roads, to facilitate economic access of the people.

"Tourism development is also for the economic development of the community," he said.

Head of Regional Office of the Ministry of Finance Directorate General of Treasury of East Java, R Wiwin Istanti who read the remarks Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani mention in Indonesia there are still about 44 million business actors that are not reached by KUR.

The problem, he said, should be tolerated because of various things, among them, in the banking system can not easily access the bottom layer community.

In distributing ultra-micro credit program, he said, accompanied by a consultant of ultra-micro credit program from the University of Indonesia (UI) Dr Nining I.Soesilo, all cooperatives can be done as well as other credit distributors who meet various requirements.

"All cooperatives can participate in distributing ultra micro credits, as long as they meet the requirements, among others, cooperatives are healthy and cooperatives are also obliged to provide assistance to the residents, because the credit is without a member," said Dr. Nining I. Soesilo.

On that occasion, Bojonegoro Regent Suyoto said to be self-reliant citizens must dare to reject the family hope program (PKH), also the distribution of prosperous rice (rastra).

"To be independent we must dare to reject PKH and rastra programs," he said, adding.
