INDUSTRY.co.id - Tegal - A proud achievement was again achieved by Universitas Bina Sarana Informatika (UBSI) Tegal campus students. Not only excelling in academics and information technology, UBSI students are also able to show their best talents in the field of art and creativity.
This is evidenced by the success of two Information System Study Program students who won 1st and 2nd place in the KPop Dance Cover Competition (SOLO Category) in the framework of FESTIFLA 8.0 organized by Universitas Katolik Soegijapranata (UNIKA) Semarang, on Friday (22/5).
This event was attended by participants from various regions in Central Java. Davin Candra Sadewa who performed under the stage name Davin Hank won 1st place. Meanwhile, Aulia Putri, known by her stage name Putri Maria, won 2nd place in the Solo Dance Cover category.
The success of both is proof that UBSI Information System students of Tegal Campus have abilities that are not only limited to academics and technology, but are also able to compete and excel in the field of performing arts. In the competition, participants were assessed based on various aspects, ranging from movement techniques, creativity in bringing choreography, expression, stage mastery, to the suitability of the performance with the concept carried out.
Through consistent training, hard work, and high morale, Davin and Aulia managed to perform their best in front of the jury. This achievement is also evidence that students are able to develop their potential in a balanced way between academic and non-academic activities.
Davin Candra Sadewa admitted that he was grateful for the results achieved and made the achievement as motivation to continue to grow.
"I am very grateful and proud to be able to win 1st place in this competition. The competition is quite intense because many participants have extraordinary abilities. I hope that this achievement will motivate me to continue to learn and develop my abilities, both in the academic field and in my field of interest. Thank you to UBSI Tegal Campus which always provides support to students to excel," said Davin in a written statement, Thursday (4/6).
The same thing was conveyed by Aulia Putri. He revealed that the training process undertaken during the preparation of the competition became a valuable experience that formed discipline and confidence.
"I feel very happy and grateful to be able to win 2nd place. This competition provides a lot of experience and valuable lessons for me. I learned to be more confident, disciplined, and dare to show my abilities. Hopefully this achievement can be an inspiration for other student friends to continue to develop talent and not hesitate to participate in various competitions," said Aulia.
Sopian Aji as the Head of the UBSI Information System Study Program of the Tegal Campus also expressed his appreciation for the achievements achieved by the two students. This achievement shows that UBSI students have great potential to excel in various fields.
"We are very proud of the achievements achieved by Davin and Aulia. This shows that UBSI Tegal Campus students have great potential not only in the field of technology, but also in the field of art and creativity. We hope that this achievement can be an inspiration for all students to continue to explore and develop their talents and interests, as well as dare to compete in various events, both at the regional and national levels," said Sopian.
The achievements achieved by Davin and Aulia further emphasize UBSI's commitment as a Creative Digital Campus in supporting the development of students as a whole.
