INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, The atmosphere of national four-wheel racing competition is heating up again. A total of 107 drivers are projected to take part in the Second Round of the Mandalika Festival of Speed (MFoS) held at the Mandalika International Circuit on June 12-14, 2026.
The event, which was assembled with Kejuaraan Nasional Indonesia Touring Car Race (ITCR) 2026, became one of the important momentums in fostering national racing while strengthening the growing Indonesian motorsport ecosystem.
As one of Mandalika Grand Prix Association (MGPA)'s flagship agendas, MFoS not only presents competition on the track. This event is also a forum for the development of drivers, teams, communities, and national automotive industry players. The presence of the ITCR Championship in the MFoS series is considered to further strengthen the path of sustainable development for the country's racing talents.
Through consistent implementation, MGPA also continues to optimize the use of Mandalika International Circuit throughout the year. The international standard circuit is now not only known as a host of international events, but also developed into a center of national motorsport activity.
During the three days of implementation, various agendas will be presented ranging from training sessions, qualifying, main races to Time Attack. A number of classes that will enliven the track include Krida Agya One Make Race (OMR), Subaru BRZ Super Series, Superstars Sportscar Series, ITCR 1200cc, ITCR 1500cc, and ISTCR 3600cc. Specifically the ISTCR 3600cc class, the competition will be divided into the Kejurnas and Non-Genesis categories.
MGPA President Director, Ananda Mikola, confirmed that MFoS continues to develop into one of the important pillars of national four-wheel racing coaching.
“Through MFoS and Kejurnas ITCR, we want to ensure that the Mandalika International Circuit not only hosts international events, but also becomes a home for the coaching and development of national motorsport talent. We hope this event opens wider opportunities for drivers while encouraging the growth of the Indonesian motorsport ecosystem," he said.
Meanwhile, ITCR 2026 National Crime Promoter, Sunyoto Tsuyoshi Soejatmo or Sunny TS, welcomed the positive collaboration with MGPA. According to him, the implementation of MFoS combined with the ITCR National Championship becomes a strategic platform to improve the quality of competition while supporting the development of the national automotive industry.
The sequence of activities will begin on Friday (12 / 6) with focus on the prep team and development of the vehicle. After the trajectory inspection, the participants will take the Time Attack session and free training for the entire category.
Entering Saturday (13 / 6), competition will get tighter through qualifying sessions that determine the start position of Race 1. The racers will then fight the first race to secure the starting points of the championship.
The top of the competition took place on Sunday (14 / 6) through a second qualifying session and Race 2 was the decisive point performance as well as the clamp position. In addition to watching the action on the track, the audience can also follow Pit Walk activities to take a closer look at race cars, team paddock, and racers. Opening ceremony is part of the glorious weekend race in Mandalika.
MGPA hopes that the Managing of the Second Round MFOS and the MyKEN1X 2026 heroes can continue to present a sustainable competition space for national drivers and open up new birth routes. At the same time, this was expected to strengthen the motor sports ecosystem involving racing teams, communities, auto industry, and all of my players of national sport.
