INDUSTRY.co.id - Manado - Head of National Road Implementation Agency (BPJN) XV of North Sulawesi and Gorontalo Riel Mantik said that until the beginning of August, the physical handling of Manado-Bitung toll segment I has reached 35.63 percent.
"This segment I is 14 kilometers from 39.9 kilometers long stretch of the entire length. Well, segment I is contractually done by the government," said Riel in Manado, Monday (8/28/2018)
While for segment II, he said, from 15-39 kilometer point done by investors including PT Jasa Marga (Persero), PT Widjaya Karya (Persero) and PT Pembangunan Perumahan (Persero).
All of these investors are state-owned enterprises, he said.
The 14 kilometer segment construction is supported by a budget allocation of Rp716.55 billion and has been realized 19.1 percent, he said.
He said that if there are no obstacles such as the acquisition of community land that the toll road will cross, then until the end of 2018 this project can be completed.
He hopes that the community will support the Manado-Bitung toll road construction so that the work is in accordance with the planning that is completed in 2018.
"Land acquisition is still a constraint, but when it is completed then we are able to enter for physical workmanship," he said.
Riel is optimistic that the Manado-Bitung toll road will be run as planned and the community will give up their land to be released.
