INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The committee celebrating Eid al-Adha 1438 Hijriah Council of Da'wah Islamiyah Indonesia (DDII) collects 564 sacrifices to be distributed to 17 provinces in Indonesia.

"The Indonesian Da'wah Islamiyah Council has received a sacrificial animal consisting of 490 goats and 74 cows and will be distributed to 17 provinces," said the committee chairman of Eid al-Adha DDII ceremony Nanang Nurkholis at DDII Jakarta office on Friday (1/9/2017).

Previously, DDII also held Eid al-Adha prayer at the Al Furqan mosque yard which was attended by about 300 of the congregation. Eid al-Adha prayer is led by the priest Julian Ferdiansyah, while Teten Romly Qoomaruddien becomes preacher.

"Sacrifices are distributed to border areas, outlying areas and disadvantaged areas which are the target areas of the Da'wah Council such as in West Sumatra, Lampung, Banten, West Java, East Java, West Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, South Sulawesi and other regions because rarely have people sacrificed," Nanang added.

According to Nanang, DDII owns many dai in Indonesia with a number of representative offices while in Jakarta head office there is only coaching for children who number around 200-400 children.

"Indeed we give priority to the distribution of sacrifices in the area, while in the center here only for children coaching duafa around 280s but the total number of children 400 people so that will be distributed about 200-400 sacrificial packages," said Nanang.

The sacrifice was received from the Institute of Amil Zakat Infaq and Shodaqoh (LAZIS) as well as from the congregation who came directly to the mosque.

"The distribution of sacrificial packages will use the coupon, this year is only the 4th year we cut directly, because we previously cut in the slaughterhouses and if it is neatly brought here, because the community here has not been built so often fighting over packets, now thank God already orderly," Nanang explained.

The slaughter of the sacrificial animals will be done on Saturday, September 2, 2017.

"Because if cut today it will be noon Friday afternoon, so the time is short, tomorrow planned cutting starting at 6:00 until around 12:00 pm," said Nanang. (Ant)
