INDUSTRY.co.id - JAKARTA - Marking a decade of presence in Indonesia, Big Bad Wolf Books Indonesia is expanding beyond mass-market retail into the world of book collecting.
The book bazaar organiser has announced a partnership with British independent bookseller Goldsboro Books to bring signed first editions, limited editions, and collectible titles to Indonesian readers.
The collaboration will be showcased at the International Big Bad Wolf Book Bazaar, scheduled for 28 October to 1 November 2026 at Halls 2 to 3A, ICE BSD City, Tangerang, Banten.
Based in London, Goldsboro Books has built a reputation as a specialist in signed first editions and exclusive collectible books. Through the partnership, visitors to the bazaar will be able to browse a curated selection from Goldsboro, targeting both seasoned collectors and new readers looking to start a collection.
Beyond the text itself, Big Bad Wolf noted that collectibility often lies in the physical attributes of a book — its first-edition status, author signature, design, and production details — elements that can lend personal and investment value.
A Decade in Indonesia
The partnership coincides with Big Bad Wolf's 10th anniversary in Indonesia, a period in which it has focused on broadening access to affordable international books.
"Over the past 10 years, Big Bad Wolf has worked to broaden access to international books for people in Indonesia. The collaboration with Goldsboro Books complements this journey by bringing a special selection of collectible books. We hope more readers can discover a new side of their love for books," said Marthius Wandi Budianto, Country Director of Big Bad Wolf Books Indonesia.
The initiative also aims to educate the wider public on book collecting, including how to differentiate between standard and collectible editions and what gives certain titles their distinction.
"We believe that books can be something very personal and worth keeping and appreciating. Through our collaboration with Big Bad Wolf, we want to introduce the Goldsboro collection to Indonesian readers and invite them to discover the joy of collecting books," said David Headley, co-founder and managing director of Goldsboro Books.

According to the organiser, admission will be free. The bazaar will operate non-stop for five days, from midnight on 28 October until 23:59 on 1 November 2026.
