INDUSTRY.co.id - Sukabumi - President Joko Widodo explained that the government will build a number of transportation infrastructure in Sukabumi, West Java, including double track railway.

"Why do I go to Sukabumi by train, because it will start construction of Bogor 'doubletrack' railway line to Sukabumi  said Jokowi in his speech before the Eid al-Adha 1438 Hijri prayer in Merdeka Square, Sukabumi, Friday (1/8/2017)

According to the President, the construction of "doubletrack" will begin in 2017 with an estimated fund of around Rp400 billion.

In addition, the government also plans to revitalize Sukabumi-Cianjur-Bandung railway line in 2019.

"So that means the flow of goods, the mobility of people, both from the airport, both from Jakarta, both from Bogor to Sukabumi will be faster," said the President in a media intercept interview at the Grand Mosque of Sukabumi.

In addition to train mode, the government also plans to build a pioneer airport in Sukabumi.

He explained the government will survey the location of the airport plan in Sukabumi without explaining the area to avoid rising land prices.

Associated with the construction of Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi toll road, the President is targeting to be completed in the next 2 years.

He explained that the toll road development plan has been since 1996, but it is always constrained.

"So last year I decided to take over SOEs and immediately done at that time," said the President.

Jokowi performed the Eid al-Adha 1438 Hijriah at Lapangan Merdeka, Sukabumi.

After that, the President handed over 1.4 ton of sacrificial cattle to the board of the Grand Mosque of Sukabumi.

Jokowi is scheduled to return to the Presidential Palace on Friday afternoon.
