INDUSTRY.co.id - Cikarang, Jababeka through Senior Living D'Khayangan held a craft training entitled 'Senior Craft Training' held from 2nd to 4th March at Senior Living D'Khayangan, Jababeka-Cikarang.

The event was followed by various community groups and residents around the senior dwelling and in train directly by Dianne Dhamayanthi as Jababeka Advisor and also an award-winning Community Empowerment Practitioner from UNESCO.

On that occasion, Diane revealed that the activity is the beginning and the future may be sustainable. The plan, the event will be held every two weeks.

Dianne added, this training aims to empower the citizens around the general mother.

The plan, if the training she gave to his students to get the maximum results, he plans to make home industry with products from the recycled materials.

"If it works I want to make it home industry with this product, because we already have a path for sales, later we will open in online too, hopefully can boom in online," she added.

Products of their own handicraft products have penetrated overseas markets. In fact, on the first day of the Senior Living D'Khayangan training was enocuntered by the guests from the Netherlands to see firsthand the training of the senior craft skills.

"It was seen that the news from their newspaper was shocked and could not believe that the product was from the old newspapers, thought of from rattan or from bamboo, after I gave them the materials, and after so simple they were amazed" continued Dianne.

On this second day of training, Senior Living D'Khayangan was also the guest of PT Haruna Wisata Indonesia, a Japanese tour company - Indonesia and Indonesia - Japan.

Dianne itself has two institutions that are formal institutions and non-formal institutions called centers of community learning activities (pkbm) in which there are packages a, b and c. In addition there is also empowerment of life skills of women
