INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi said the development of the construction of the connected railway from Batu Ceper Station, Tangerang to Soekarno Hatta Airport, Banten has reached 82 percent.

When reviewing the railway track being unearthed, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya explained that land acquisition has been completed. But there is still a further big work that is elevation or elevate the land with a five-kilometer dune.

"It's 82 percent, living 18 percent but with one level of difficulty because the dredging must be done gradually," said Budi Karya at the airport railway development site, Tangerang, Wednesday (6/9/2017)

He describes the hard work to be done, namely the elevation of land as high as eight meters with a length of five kilometers that have not been resolved.

In addition, the transport of construction goods is also constrained due to limited lanes and can lead to heavy traffic during the day so that work can only be done at night.

Currently, the dredging of the already inspected Soekarno Hatta Airport rail line has reached one kilometer located not far from Batu Ceper Station.

Minister of Transportation requested that there is acceleration of work on both the station and the road network before November 2017.

"Friends asked for November, but I asked for a shortened time in one to two days I can report how long it can be completed faster".

Minister of Transportation Budi Karya accompanied by President Director of PT Railink Heru Kuswanto on Wednesday afternoon reviewing the development of the Soekarno-Hatta Airport railway line starting from Sudirman Baru Station.

Based on the monitoring, the New Sudirman Station has not been fully completed but the escalator to the top of the station is already installed.
