INDUSTRY.co.id - Brussel - Vice President Jusuf Kalla during his visit to Belgium, witnessed the signing of three memoranda of understanding (MoU) between business actors of both countries in the field of infrastructure development in Indonesia.

First Secretary of Pensosbud KBRI Brussel, Ance Maylany told Antara London, Thursday (12/10/2017) said the signing of cooperation was done at the High Level Roundtable Discussion held by the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (FEB) attended by the Coordinating Minister for Development Human and Culture, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Indonesian Ambassador in Brussels and Chairman of Kadin Indonesia.

While on the Belgian side, there was Belgian Ambassador to Indonesia as well as representatives from the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and about 25 CEOs from large companies in Belgium.

"The meeting was held as part of an effort to increase investment and trade cooperation that has been established between the two countries," said Ance Maylany.

The CEOs present represent the companies that have operated or want to expand their business in Indonesia "I understand what obstacles and challenges you face today when doing business in Indonesia," Vice President Jusuf Kalla.

The three agreements are agreed between PT Pelabuhan Indonesia I (Persero) and PT Van Oord Dredging International Asia Pacific on the cooperation of the Kuala Tanjung development project.

The second is between PT Valdo Investama Siat Group about the work on developing integrated plantations and biotechnology centers in Maluku. The company's investment plan reaches 50 million US dollars.

The third joint venture between PT Humpuss Intermoda Transportasi and Exmar NV regarding the plan to form a joint venture in the development and development of LNG Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) to supply the IPP PLTGU (Java 1 and Tambak Lorok) needs of Pertamina, Sojitz and Marubeni .

Project investment plan reached 400 million US dollars. LNG comes from Pertamina refinery in Bontang which has been ordered / contracted by PLN. Meanwhile, PPA has been signed by PLN.
