INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Coordinating Minister for the Ministry of Marine Affairs, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, confirmed that all infrastructure projects initiated and undertaken during the reign of President Joko Widodo and Vice President Jusuf Kalla continue to go according to plan.

"There is hardly any Pak Jokowi project that does not work because we count carefully," he said in Deloitte Indonesia Infrastructure CEO Forum 2017 in Jakarta on Thursday.

There are a number of infrastructure development which is currently the focus of President Jokowi's government, among them the Port of Patimban, Kertajati Airport, also the Jakarta-Surabaya train.

The former Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs said that the government also continues to encourage the acceleration of infrastructure projects, including by inviting investors to be able to help finance.

One of the invited parties is the China Development Bank (CDB) which Luhut believes has the potential to finance a number of ongoing projects.

"The CDB is what we keep in touch, they see which projects are of interest to them, the return is good, I see the LRT could, perhaps Kertajati and possibly waste to energy," he said.

Luhut previously claimed to want the achievement of infrastructure development in Indonesia could reach 90 percent in 2019 or until the Jokowi-Jusuf Kalla government ended.
