"The Putera-Puteri Maritim Indonesia should be able to motivate the fishermen in Indonesia to innovate, both in terms of marketing techniques, product packaging, mengcreate new ideas, including steeped in information technology", said Agus when giving material at the event Education and Training Putera- Puteri Maritim Indonesia 2017 at Bhumi Marinir Cilandak, Jakarta, Friday (24/11).
In front of dozens of Indonesian Maritime Sons representing all provinces, Agus encourages young people to cultivate life as a creative economy or entrepreneur.
"If the trader, buy 100 products and then sold 150, can profit 50. If the entrepreneur, buy 100 products, then the product gets a creative touch including a unique packaging with capital 100, then sold 500. Untung achieved 300. That is different traders with entrepreneurs "said Agus.
Not to forget, Agus reminded that for young entrepreneurs to have a brand or product label that is easy to say and easy to remember. "There are five keys to one's success, knowledge, skill or skill, networking, creating opportunities, and maintaining mental and attitude, and to master something, we must listen, see, and experience", Agus said.
Related to the capital, continued Agus, Kemenkop and SMEs have several strategic programs. Among other things, entrepreneurship training such as financial management, vocational, information technology and so on.
"For those who want to start a business, we offer a Beginner Entrepreneurship program (WP), next year we prepare WP programs for 1700 people who submit business proposals. For those who already have business, next year we through the Revolving Fund Management Agency (LPDB) prepare Rp100 billion Maximum credit of Rp50 million with interest 4.5% per year ", said Agus.
Not only that, said Agus, for SMEs who want to develop their productive business can access credit business people (KUR) with 9% interest per year. "Currently, there are about 34 banks and non-bank financial institutions that are distributors of KUR, not only state-owned banks, regional banks, but also existing cooperatives that are distributors of KUR, namely Kospin Jasa", Agus explained.
In addition to access to capital, Kemenkop also have other programs that support young entrepreneurs in Indonesia. "We also facilitate the management of small and micro business license or IUMK for free in the sub-district as well as the maintenance of copyrights for MSME products that can now be obtained quickly, easily and free", said Agus.
Agus added that Kemenkop also continue to roll out programs to develop regional tourism cooperatives.
"We must know that the tourism sector is the country's largest foreign exchange reservist, the development of tourist destinations throughout Indonesia is the main focus of President Jokowi's government development, therefore Kemenkop also focus on developing cooperatives and SMEs in tourist areas in Indonesia" added Agus.
