INDUSTRY.co.id - Mataram- Lombok International Airport in Praya, Central Lombok regency, returned to normal operation starting at 08.45 WITA, Friday (1/12) after being temporarily closed at 6:18 pm morning.

"All flight operations either coming or departing from and to Lombok International Airport (LIA) are back in operation," said General Manager Angkasa Pura I, LIA I Gusti Ngurah Ardita in a written statement received by media crews in Jakarta.

The operation of this LIA is based on Notice to Airmen (NOTAM) B9077 / 17 dated December 1, 2017. The day before, Thursday (30/11) LIA operations closed until 24.00 WITA or Friday (1/12) morning.

The airport authority has again extended the closing of LIA operations from 6:18 a.m. to 2 pm Wita, Friday afternoon, based on NOTAM B9075 / 17.

But starting at 08:45 pm airport can be re-operated.

Lombok International Airport, Ardita said, still provides an Integrated Service Post which can be used by passengers to get information related to flights and airport operations.

Lombok International Airport continues to hold coordination meetings every six hours with stakeholders (airlines, BMKG, AIRNAV, CIQ, ground handling and representatives of Otban Region IV) to re-evaluate the impact of Mount Agung eruption at the airport.

Domestic flights are now operating both from and to Lombok International Airport. As for the current international flights are still canceled the purpose of Kuala Lumpur Friday morning using Air Asia.

"The number of flights impacting on December 1, 2017 as much as 42 flights for domestic, while for international flights as much as 2 flights," said I Gusti Ngurah Ardita.
