INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - The government has completed six national strategic projects (PSN) in 2017, so cumulatively as of December 19, 2017 there are 26 PSNs that have been completed considering the 20 PSN has been completed in 2016.

Chairman of Implementation Committee of Priority Infrastructure Priority Initiative (KPPIP) Committee Wahyu Utomo in a media meeting in Jakarta on Wednesday said the six projects are Tanjung Priok access road, Soreang-Pasirkoja toll road, Surabaya-Mojokerto toll road.

Subsequently, Nanga Badau sub-district boundary post (Kapuas Hulu), Aruk PLAU of Sambas District, and PLBN Wini of North Central Timor District.

"The value of six PSN projects completed in 2017 reached Rp13.1 trillion, while the total estimated investment value of 26 PSN has been completed amounting to Rp46.5 trillion," Wahyu said.

With the completion of 26 PSN, until the end of 2017 there are 239 PSN and two programs (electrification and aircraft industry) that still have to be completed.

Wahyu explained from 239 PSN and two unfinished programs, there are 145 PSN and one program under construction, nine projects in transaction stage, 85 projects and one program in the preparation stage.

"There are still many things that have not been completed since projects such as toll roads are more complex considering the need to prepare environmental impact analysis, design, land acquisition, new construction and multiyears," he said.

Wahyu also explained that from 145 PSN which is still construction phase, there are 37 projects that have been partially operated and in the near future can be completed.

The projects include the Medan-Tebing Tinggi toll road, the Bekasi-Cawang-Kampung Melayu toll road, the Special Economic Zone (KEK) of Tanjung Lesung, and the KEK Mandalika.

"The projects that we have operated are still counted as projects in the construction phase because they are not yet fully operational," Wahyu said.

PSN is a selected project that has a strategic role in the economy, social welfare, defense and national sovereignty that can obtain facilities as regulated in Presidential Regulation No. 3 of 2016 j.o. Perpres 58/2017.

The latest list noted that there are 245 PSN and two programs with a total investment value of Rp4,417 trillion. All PSNs are divided into 15 sectors, of which the three sectors with the most number of projects are the road sector with 74 projects.
