INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - During the first half of 2017, PT Bank BNI Syariah (BNI Syariah) recorded a net profit of Rp165 billion. Profit increased 13% over the same period in the previous year of Rp146 billion.
"The profit growth is supported by the expansion of financing and the contribution of the composition of the ratio of low-cost funds and operational efficiency that is also maintained," said BNI Syariah President Director, Abdullah Firman Wibowo in Jakarta, Tuesday (25/7/2017).
In terms of assets, the company increased 19.7% annually from Rp25.7 trillion to Rp30.7 trillion. The increase in assets was supported by the growth of third party funds (DPK) of 22.1% and financing of 18.8%.
Financing as of June 2017, was recorded at Rp22.5 trillion to Rp18.9 trillion. Firman said most of them are still consumer financing with a portion reaching 51.9%. Then, followed by productive retail financing / SME 21.7%, commercial financing 19.3%, micro finance 5.6%.
"For consumer financing, most of the portfolio is BNI Griya iB Hasanah, which is 84.9 percent," said Firman.
In the funding position, BNI Syariah DPK is Rp26.7 trillion. Where is the position of the ratio of low-cost funds consisting of demand deposits and savings reached 47.6 percent? "Up from 47.1 percent in the previous year (June 2016)," said Firman.
