INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk announced that Jakarta-Cikampek II (Elevated) Toll Road which has entered construction work began to carry out the "slab" of prime bridge flooring on Wednesday morning (24/1) at Km 46 + 200 direction Cikampek .

"Floor slab was started at 00.00 am with a concrete volume of about 250 m3 for 1 span of floor bridge slab along 60 meters with a width of 11 meters," said AVP Corporate Communication of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk, Dwimawan Heru in a written statement in Jakarta, Thursday (25/1/2018)

Heru explained, with the work of 250 m3 of concrete volume is served by 36 trucks of concrete processing continuously so that potentially causing disruption of traffic on the highway.

Floor slab foundation was completed at 10.00 WIB the next day and this caused traffic disturbance Jakarta-Cikampek toll road Cikampek direction Wednesday morning (24/1) from Cibatu to West Karawang.

"We apologize for the traffic problem and it is done to maximize safety and security for road users and project workers," said Heru.

Furthermore, said Heru, on the next day (continuously) then casting slab floor of the bridge will be implemented starting at 21:00 pm in order to avoid traffic disruptions in the next day.

Therefore, Jasa Marga appealed to road users to anticipate travel and if density was inevitable, road users could use alternative routes.

Several alternative routes to Cikampek that can be used by Road User who are already in Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road are able to exit to Road through Toll Gate of Cibatu or East Cikarang Toll Gate and then re-enter to Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road through Toll Gate of West Karawang.

The Jakarta-Cikampek II (Elevated) Toll Road which runs in Cikunir-Karawang Barat is an alternative route for toll road users to Cikampek and Bandung.

The 38km toll road is managed by Jasa Marga business group, PT Jasamarga Jalanlayang Cikampek (JJC).
