INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta- President Joko Widodo entrusts a message to the people of Indonesia who live in Pakistan to always maintain the good name of the nation and the country of Indonesia, especially the relationship of the two countries are well established.

This was apparent at the arrival of President Jokowi in Pakistan on Friday afternoon (26/1/2018) which was picked up directly by Pakistani President Mamnoon Hussain at Nur Khan Air Base, Islamabad, Pakistan, as stated by Deputy of Protocol, Press and Media Sector Secretariat of President Bey Machmudin in his written statement.

"This is an award from Pakistan," said President in front of the people of Indonesia who gathered at Hotel Serena, on Friday, January 26, 2018.

On the occasion, the Head of State also revealed the reason for visiting five countries in South Asia region, namely Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

"We want to give a balance, as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, the region in the Middle East, the region here, should get special attention," said the President.

In addition, Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world.

"This I always convey is our great political power in the global camaraderie with other countries," the President said.

In this meeting, the President explained that the government is currently focusing on building infrastructure that is evenly distributed throughout the country.

He explained that infrastructure in Indonesia is currently lagging far enough that it hinders competition with other countries.

"I think this infrastructure development is fundamental to our country and I do not want to lose momentum," said the President.

A number of achievements of programs and development in the country was presented Head of State. Starting from Trans Papua toll road, Trans Sumatra toll road, port, railway, airport, State Border Post (PLBN), to the implementation of one price fuel policy.

After delivering remarks, President and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo took pictures with the Indonesian people who attended the meeting.
