INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Hutama Karya (Persero) together with the Hutama Modern Partners Consortium regretted confirming the events that occurred in the fall of cranes in the double-double track (DDT) project of constructing railway facilities for the Manggarai line up to Jatinegara.

The incident happened on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 05.00 am, where as many as four workers died. This temporary suspicion occurs because the crane of the concrete block carrier that is not strong to withstand the load causing the fall and hit some workers.

"On behalf of the whole range of Hutama Modern Partners Consortium, we extend our condolences and greatest apologies to the families of victims for this incident We ensure the families of the victims get all the compensation and compensation they have," said Adjib Al Hakim as Corporate Secretary of PT Hutama Karya (Persero).

"Since the incident to date, we continue to work together with the Police by making security radius as far as 300 meters around the scene, and ensuring all equipment in a stable condition in order to ensure security for the community around the location after the events of today," continued Adjib .

Currently all the people are urged not to be near the scene so that the handling process can run smoothly and safely for all parties.

Related to this event, we will cooperate with the Construction Safety Committee (KKK) of the PUPR Ministry to conduct further investigation.
