INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - PT Pelita Air Service, a subsidiary of PT Pertamina (Persero), started operating the N219 aircraft as a form of cooperation with the Government of North Kalimantan Province and the Government of Puncak Regency, Papua.

The cooperation agreement was signed by Finance Director of PT Pelita Air Service Andre Herlambang with the Governor of North Kalimantan Province Irianto Lambrie and Regent of Puncak of Papua Province Willem Wandik at the Singapore Air Show, based on official information received in Jakarta on Friday (9/2/2018)

Pelita Air Service Finance Director Andre Herlambang said that Pelita Air Service has experience in aircraft management services from operation to maintenance.

So far Pelita Air Service has been trusted to operate and maintain the VVIP BAE RJ 85 aircraft belonging to the State Secretariat Ministry. Therefore, Pelita Air Service offers aircraft management services from operation to maintenance to government agencies that own N219 aircraft.

These services include aircraft operations and daily maintenance so that the Provincial Government of North Kalimantan and the Government of Puncak Papua can use the N219 aircraft safely and comfortably.

It was also affirmed that this cooperation was conducted with the aim of supporting the Government of Indonesia's effort in providing easy access for the people in Indonesia.

Previously, PT Pelita Air Service also signed an agreement on commercialization of N219 aircraft with PT Dirgantara Indonesia. N219's commercialization of the commercial aircraft includes the purchase of 20 N219 aircraft and the inclusion of PT Pelita Air Service in the process of Delivery Center and Finishing N219 aircraft.

Through this partnership, it is hoped that the synergy between SOE and BUMN subsidiaries will be achieved in order to advance Indonesia's aerospace world.
