INDUSTRY.co.id - PT Graha Buana Cikarang, a subsidiary of PT Jababeka Tbk cooperates with PT Zoomy Media Indonesia as a data center base or integrated technology development center as its Silicon Valley Indonesia.

President Director of PT Grahabuana Cikarang, Suteja Sidarta Darmono, said it will hold PT Zoomy for the plan. That's because Zoomy is considered as a very credible company in creating technology-based industrial area.

Later if the technology center is built in Cikarang, certainly around 1600 companies or industries in the region will be more develop. Even Suteja is optimistic that not only existing companies in the Cikarang region are going to advance, but technology-based startup business such as e-commerce in the region is also certainly growing.

"We want to see a good ecosystem that can accommodate the needs of IT and e-commerce This is only once a new start up popping up there (Cikarang)," Suteja said when met INDUSTRY.co.id editor on the sidelines of The Indonesia- China IT Summit, in Menara Batavia, Jakarta, Wednesday (05/10/2017).

His party with PT Zoomy will conduct a new exploration of cooperation plans to build a technology industry in the region Cikarang. Later, the results of a new joint analysis will be poured in the form of a standard cooperation.

Suteja is optimistic that plans to build a data center in Cikarang will be responded well by the market. Cikarang is now considered as a strategic industrial area.

This is because the area is already available adequate infrastructure. Even now, begin to build new types of infrastructure such as elevated tolls, Light Rapid Transit (LRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and High Speed Train (HST) Jakarta - Bandung. That the existence of this infrastructure will strengthen if Cikarang area worthy of being a technology center in Indonesia.

"We take advantage of this (infrastructure) to build a new container, if you want to make Silicon Valley in Indonesia is the most appropriate in Cikarang because the infrastructure is best there is a power plant of his own," he continued.
