INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Car rental entrepreneurs who are members of Rent Car Indonesia (RCI) have agreed to form a cooperative. Furthermore, the legal entity of the Rent Car Indonesia Sejahtera Cooperative will become the sole operational license of car rental entrepreneurs throughout Indonesia.

Khoirul Anam, Secretary General of RCI, explained that according to Regulation of the Minister of Transportation Number 32 Year 2018, passenger transportation entrepreneurs are required to establish Limited Liability Company (PT) or cooperative. BUMN and BUMD are also allowed to have passenger public transport business.

"Members of RCI throughout Indonesia have agreed to form a cooperative so that RCI member car rental operators will have operational permits for their business," said Khoirul Anam, one of the founders of RCI in March 2016.

Khoirul Anam added, along with the announcement of the Cooperation of Rent Car Indonesia Sejahtera Saturday, March 3, 2018 in Jakarta, will be launched Application * Unon Passanger *. "This is to facilitate people who need car rental, the same way if we need a taxi or other online transportation," said Khoirul Anam who is also a car rental businessman in Sidoarjo.

The application of 'Unon Passanger' is one of the products owned by the Cooperative Rent Car Indonesia Sejahtera which has the motto of Intelligent Working for Joint Venture for Member Welfare.

This RCI member cooperative will also open a car repair shop, spare part sales of vehicles, insurance and leasing services.

This matches the RCI tagline, which is INACTION. Acronyms Together, Aspirational, Creative, Solutive and Inspirational. According to Khoirul Anam, in order to compete with other transport business, RCI must adapt to the demands of high society. Namely get a comfortable transportation, safe with affordable cost.

"The community now does not want to be bothered, so the cooperative has prepared an application called * Unon Passanger * Please download via PlayStore, so if at any time need a car rental for just a shuttle, a special car for the couple and the accompanist , You just click, and in a short time the vehicle is ready in front of your house, "said Khoirul Anam.

"It seems that there is no other way to compete in this era, the entrepreneurs are required to be creative and innovative, which RCI is trying to do and present to its members, while meeting the expectations of the people who use transportation services," he added.

Separately, Secretary of Sejahtera Cooperative Rent Car Indonesia, Ajie Suwarno, said, to serve the needs of its members who are all car rental entrepreneurs, the cooperative will serve the purchase of new cars or used vehicles with sharia credit. The cooperative will also open an insurance business.

"Not only is insurance for the vehicle, the driver and the car rental businessman will also be more beautiful if it is covered by insurance," said Ajie Suwarno, also known as a property entrepreneur specializing in ready-to-house providers.
