President Jokowi Receives Letters of Credence from Eleven New Ambassadors

President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo Monday (02/20) received Letters of Credence from eleven new Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary (LBBP) of friendly countries to the Republic of Indonesia.

Thepresidentpost.id - The ceremony that began with the singing of the national anthem of each friendly country was held at the Kredensial room, Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.

The eleven new Ambassadors are:

1. Erick Rahmat Moertabat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Suriname to the Republic of Indonesia;

2. Olivier Marc Zehnder, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Swiss Confederation to the Republic of Indonesia;

3. Zakarya Muhammad Mustafa El-Moghrabi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Libya to the Republic of Indonesia;

4. Lee Sang-deok, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Indonesia;

5. Stella Bezirtzoglou, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Hellenic Republic to the Republic of Indonesia;

6. Mohamad Ahmed Salim Al-Shanfari, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Sultanate of Oman to the Republic of Indonesia;

7. Yassir Mohamed Ali Mohamed, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Sudan to the Republic of Indonesia;

8. Jayanath Siri Kumara Colombage, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Republic of Indonesia;

9. Faisal Abdulah H. Amodi, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Republic of Indonesia;

10. Abdulmonem Annan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Indonesia; and

11. Mpetjane Kgaogelo Lekgoro, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of South Africa to the Republic of Indonesia.

The submission of the Letters of Credence officially marked the start of the term of office of the Ambassadors in Indonesia.

Following the submission of the credentials to the President, the Ambassadors and their respective companions bid their farewell. Indonesia’s national anthem Indonesia Raya was also sung during the moment.
