INDUSTRY.co.id - Batam - Head of Batam Enterprises Hatanto Reksodipoetro presented various innovation programs at the representatives of the Board of Public Relations Coordinating Board (Bakohumas) to facilitate investors to invest in Free Trade Zone and Batam Free Port.
"BP Batam has been innovating public services in order to facilitate the industry in running its business.The innovation built through the online system is expected to increase investment and make Batam as the national economic contributor," Hatanto said in a release delivered to the media crew in Jakarta on Tuesday / 8).
"BP Batam is a Public Service Board in which there are service units such as PTSP, Traffic of goods, land management, airports and seaports which have service functions for the community and industry.
"So the ease of licensing becomes the key to improving the economy," he said.
In carrying out the function, Hatanto said, his company is moving fast and professional in serving the needs of the community especially related to the increase of investment by doing public innovation one of them is i23J program (three-hour investment license).
"With this program, investors get the convenience to eight different products, namely investment permit, principle license, API (Importer Identification Number), NPWP, TDP, RPTKA, IMTA, and NIK (customs parent number) in one integrated service owned by BP Batam," said Hatanto.
Since its launch in early September 2016, he said, already as many as seven companies that have used the i23j facility with a total investment value of 198.8 million US dollars and absorb 750 workers.
In addition to the i23j program, BP Batam also has several other public service programs including Geographical Information System (GIS) or Batam Island geographic information system, Host to Host or portfolio service payment system, KLIK (Ease of Direct Investment Investment Service), Import Facility Through Green Line (I23 +), SIKMB (Exit Entry Information System), and IPR license (Intellectual Property Rights).
On that occasion, Hatanto welcomed and appreciated the implementation of the Baktiumas Thematic Forum of BP Batam which was held the third time.
"We hope these activities can provide clear information to people outside Batam, especially the PR institution in the ministries and central agencies related to BP Batam program to realize Batam as an investment destination in Asia Pacific," said Hatanto.
Meanwhile, the expert staff of Minister of Justice Ministry of Communications and Informatics RI, Prof. Henri Subiakto said Bakohumas forum aims to support the success of the work cabinet, absorbing aspirations, and accelerate the delivery of information in accordance with applicable law.
"The Bakohumas thematic forum addresses the institutional and programming theme of each ministry-institution which should be socialized to the public through the public relations of the participating government as well as in Inpres No.9 of 2015," he said.
The activities of Bakohumas BP Batam lasted for two days, followed by 63 participants from 40 ministries. Participants were given the opportunity to conduct field trips and see various industrial areas in Batam.
