INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Muslim intellectual Prof. Komaruddin Hidayat hopes Eid is a moment for the nation's children to cool the political temperature.

"Idul Fitri moment with Lebaran holidays long enough to give a respite 'cooling down', all in touch, economic conditions also I think increased, so really enjoyed Lebaran this time," he said when contacted by media crew.

Former Rector of State Islamic University of Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta said, although the political temperature will certainly rise again after Idul Fitri, he appealed to the community to no longer, or reduce hate speech either form of writing, drawing, or other.

Meanwhile, Chairman of Ikata Dai Indonesia (IKADI), Achmad Satori Ismail stated that this holiday should be interpreted as a momentum to keep peace between people.

"Maintaining unity, keeping ukhuwah, and keeping unity, that's the most important," he said.

As stated by Moeldoko, Satori asserts, basically all religions want and teach the same thing, which is peace, which can be realized if the interlenders love each other and respect the differences.

"Therefore, all the steps we lead to creation in the form of love in real life," he added.

In the political context, he also invites the whole society in the political elite to have a common view and intention to build the nation and state, not for personal and group interests.

"The goal must be the same to build this country," said Satori.
