INDUSTRY.co.id - Property consultant of Colliers Internatioal stated, supply of industrial estate in Jabodetabek and around such as Serang, Bogor, and Karawang, considered there is no much change in 2016 compared with last year.
“There is no much change in supply of industrial. There are only few expansion industrial estates which start to develop their area.” said Senior Associate Director Colliers International Indonesia Ferry Salanto in Jakarta, Thursday (5/1).
Ferry also observes total sales in 2016 which is only a half that obtained in 2015.
Although, overall considered stagnant and fluctuating price levels, but he stated that there is significant improvement on prospect of industrial estate in 2017.
He said because there is always improvement from quarterly sales trends along 2016.
In 2017, industrial estate considered still dominated by the old tenants which have been there before and want to improve the bigger production capacity.
As proclaimed, Industry Minister, Airlangga Hartarto, seek cheap gas prices at industrial estate, so that more competitive than neighboring countries.
“10 sector plus industrial estate (asked for cheap gas prices). Because of that is already on Rencana Umum Energi Nasional (RUEN) which discussed with president.” said Airlangga after meeting with Dewan Energi Nasional on Jakarta, 7th September 2016.
Industry Minister explained, in RUEN, that gas prices is capital development, gas prices base capital multiplier effect and that is for region improvement or economic equity.
Therefore, gas prices submission which competitive for industrial estate include in RUEN’s item that said gas prices for region improvement or economic equity.
Airlangga added, all of industry which operate in estate expect to get competitive gas prices. (Hrb)
