INDUSTRI.co.id -Bandung - A total of 131 companies consisting of three state-owned enterprises, 40 state-owned enterprises and 88 private companies participated in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program -Power Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) initiated by West Java Provincial Government.

"There are 117 CSR-PKBL activities or projects of 2016 coming from 36 out of 131 companies in West Java who are joining CSR-PKBL," said West Java Governor Ahmad Heryawan, in Bandung on Tuesday (14/3/2017)  

Governor who is familiarly called Aher attended the inauguration of Joint Projects CSR-PKBL West Java Year 2016 as well as MURI Record Signing Inscription Signing Most simultaneously, at the Hotel Intercontinental Dago Bandung.

"This is a monumental event because it will be listed in the MURI record with the category 'Signing of Most Inscriptions Simultaneously', with the signing of 117 pieces of inscriptions," said Aher.

He said the Facilitation Team of CSR-PKBL West Java has also conducted dissemination to six Industrial Zones in West Java, among others Jababeka Industrial Estate, Industrial Area KIIC, Industrial Area MM2100.     

Then Suryacipta Industrial Area, Industrial Area and Warehouse Marunda Center, and EJIP Industrial Zone, as an effort to disseminate information related to CSR programs and activities facilitated by West Java Provincial Government.    

According to him, the achievement of investment program of CSR-PKBL West Java since 2011 until 2016 has reached Rp1, 12 trillion.   

"Therefore, God willing in the future, this program will continue to be expanded and developed," he said.

With regard to the joint inauguration which was held on this day, which is the sixth year since the inauguration of Bandung Commitment Declaration on January 14, 2011, Aher warmly welcomed and appreciated the company that has synergized with local government through CSR-PKBL Facilitation Team of West Java Which was initiated by Bappeda West Java Province, especially in the implementation of CSR-PKBL program of 2016. 

He said West Java Province is a big province, with all the potentials and challenges that are owned and based on BPS data of West Java in 2016, the economy of West Java in 2016 measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached Rp1.652,59 trillion .  

According to him, the economy of West Java in 2016 grew 5.67 percent (increase compared to 2015 by 5.04 percent) and the inflation rate of 2016 by 2.75 percent, and the realization of foreign investment and domestic investment from January to September in 2016 in West Java Amounting to Rp111, 405 trillion (increased Rp7, 931 trillion over the same period).  

The realization of the investment consisted of Rp60,330 trillion of PMA, Rp22,260 trillion of PMDN Mandatory LKPM, and Rp28,815 trillion of Non-LKPM PMDN, and employed 307,745 workers (increased 26,160 people from 2015). 

In addition, Aher continued, in the field of education, West Java Province has experienced a lot of progress, including shown by the average length of school (7.86 years), with the expectation of old School (12.15 years).     

Various efforts to improve the quality of education in West Java, including the development of 20,000 new classrooms, continue the process penegerian three private universities and the implementation of high education schemes outside the domicile (PDD) ITB, IPB and UNPAD, build and develop a model of SMK-based Pesantren and Kobong Development. 

Meanwhile, in the field of health also continues to progress that is shown with Life Expectancy Rate of 2015 reached 72.41 Years and various breakthrough efforts made in order to improve the quality of health, such as building Puskesmas capable PONED Revitalization and operational funds for posyandu, and transfer status and Instead of managing several hospitals in West Java.
