INDUSTRY.co.id - PT Jababeka Infrastruktur, once again, provides training to make craft from used newspaper materials to Cikarang’s people, now in Pasir Sari village, Wednesday (29/3/2017). This training teaches them how to utilize used newspapers wasted to be handicrafts.
Event which held on 29th and 30th March, lead by Diane Dhamayanthi, a practitioner of community empowerment and award winner from UNESCO.
Attend to that event, Subdistrict Head of South Cikarang, H. Enop Chan, Msi with his wife, and Head of Pasir Sari village, Lamjah Hertansyah, and followed by 30 participants from PKK.
“We hope women got the additional ability to fill their free time and give them more income,” he said.
Subdistict head of South Cikarang, H. Enop Chan, MSi, deliver his happiness because of this activities. “I’m really happy with this event, and I hope this event can continued and the result can utilize for people,” he said.
In this occasion, Head of the Pasir Sari Village, Lamjah Hertansyah convey that will bring the result of work at election of the best village in national event on 4th April.
Diane also explained about Pusat Kegiatan Belajar Masyarakat (PKBM MODESLAVIDI) which is A, B & C packages equal with elementary school, junior high school, and senior high school that teach practical skills.
Diane is loyal until there are 13 assisted villages in Jababeka Cikarang. In this place, Diane also develops Desa Literasi and Vokasi program through Taman Baca Masyarakat (TBM), so children want to read.
Those activities which seen by UNESCO. This world organization invites her to share knowledge for every country. UNESCO gives contract for Diane to share her experience in Timor Leste, Singapura, Malaysia, Thailand, Korea, and China, but for Diane, her trip to Kalimantan and Nunukan was most valuable experience.
