INDUSTRY.co.id - Bekasi - As a form of corporate concern to the community, PT Jababeka Infrastructure planted 10,000 mangrove trees in Kampung Bungin, Bakti Beach Village, Muaragembong Sub-district, Bekasi Regency, on Thursday (20/4/2017).

"This event is an early series of our Jababeka Eco Week event, because we want to show that Jababeka is very concerned about the environment," said Senior Manager, Jababeka Infrastructure Aris Dwi Cahyo.

Aris emphasizes that the most important is sustainable, because planting a difficult mangrove is its maintenance. "Planting is easy, but maintenance requires community participation. Age 2 years, mangroves can be removed," he explained.

The mangrove planting was attended by Head of West Java Environment Office Anang Sudarna, Village Head of Bakti H. Suwinta Village, Senior Manager of Jababeka Infrastructure Aris Dwi Cahyo and some representatives from tenants such as L'Oreal, Sari Roti, Mattel, ICI Paints, Showa and many others.

He added that the planting of mangrove trees is a series of Jababeka Eco Week program on 25-27 April will present Minister of Environment and Forestry RI Dr. Ir.

Siti Nurbaya Bakar M.Sc, Vice Governor of West Java Deddy Mizwar, Bekasi Regent of Neneng Hasanah Yasin, Head of West Java Environment Department Dr.Ir Anang Sudarna M.Sc., and President Commissioner of PT Jababeka Tbk. S.D. Darmono.

Seminar series, photography competition, recycling competition, drawing and coloring competition, art exhibition, tree planting, award winning, groundbreaking will complement the environmental weekend event held by PT Jababeka Infrastruktur.
