INDUSTRY.co.id - The Indonesian enterpreneur Association (Apindo) Central Java welcomes the presence of Kendal Industrial Area. Even so the association hopes the price of land is affordable so as not to burden entrepreneurs.

"Basically, we are happy with the existence of industrial estate in Central Java, one of them is Kendal Industrial Area," said Chairman of Apindo Central Java Frans Kongi in Semarang, Tuesday (22/11/2016).

Frans assessed the existence of the industrial area to alleviate the entrepreneurs because of the availability of infrastructure that has been prepared.

"The entrepreneurs who will build companies in industrial areas are no longer bothered by HO permits, amdal, and other licenses, especially in terms of infrastructure, some of it which have been prepared by industrial area managers such as electricity and roads," he said.

However, his hopes the land price is not too high. If it is too high, local entrepreneurs will find it difficult to enter the industrial estate.

"If foreign businessmen with large capital, of course they can enter the industrial area with high land prices, especially if the price of land up to millions per square meter," he said.

Related to that, it hopes other regional governments whose area began ogled by the investors to ensure the price of land is not too high.

"For example, areas such as Grobogan and Blora have been attracted by investors, where land prices are still cheap," he said.

Frans said ideally the price of land for industries in these areas in the range of Rp100-300 thousand per square meter.

"If at any time the regional governments in these areas prepare industrial area, the price of land need to be controlled," he said.
