INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Standard Chartered Bank ("Bank") and PT Industri Kereta Api (Persero) ("INKA") today announced a partnership to support the national strategic program in infrastructure, through railway production.

The cooperation was officially signed by Standard Chartered Bank Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Rino Donosepoetro and Director of Finance and Human Resources INKA, Mohamad Nur Sodiq.

 Through this partnership, the Bank provides a working capital facility of US $ 20 million to support INKA's production, especially in an effort to boost domestic infrastructure growth in line with government priority programs.

 INKA is a state-owned enterprise engaged in the manufacturing of railways. INKA manufactures various types of trains such as passenger trains, freight trains, LRTs, KRLs and locomotives. In addition to supplying domestic railway needs in Indonesia especially KAI, INKA currently also exports trains to various countries such as Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Singapore and Bangladesh.
