INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta - Vietnam Airlines, Vietjet announced plans to open a new international route connecting Jakarta with Vietnam's largest city, Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC). The event was witnessed by His Excellency Nguyen Phu Trong, Secretary General of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on his first official visit to Indonesia, as well as other officials from the Vietnamese government as well as Indonesia.

This route will start operating every day from December 20, 2017. This three hour air journey, departing from Jakarta at 1:40 AM and landed at HCMC at 4:40 am. Return flight takes off from HCMC at 20:40 pm and arrives in Jakarta at 11:40 pm. There is no time difference between Jakarta and HCMC.
