INDUSTRY.co.id - Jakarta, PT Industrial Area Jababeka Tbk (KIJA) is ready to build industrial estates and residential complexes, either tread house or vertical dwelling (apartment) if the government discourse move the capital to Palangkaraya in Central Kalimantan so be done.

Director of Business Development Jababeka Hyanto Wihadi states, if the government moved then there will certainly be a massive property development in the city. The reason, all officials concerned will move and require shelter as a place to live.

"If it is so, of course there will be redevelopment there," said Hyanto, Thursday (13/4/2017).

On the other hand, the economic level in the city would be more mobile if Palangkaraya became the new capital for Indonesia. Along with that, Jababeka will take advantage of these conditions to attract investors by opening an industrial area.

"All cities are possible, this leg is where every chance there is. Our vision to build 100 cities," said Hyanto.

As is known, the discourse of the transfer of the capital was brought back by the Minister of National Development Planning, Bambang Brodjonegoro. He said the review of the move would be completed as soon as possible.

Currently, Jababeka has two industrial estates located in Cikarang and Kendal. For in Cikarang, the company continues to develop by building houses, apartments, warehouses, and shop.

Meanwhile, the company targets the construction of the first phase in Kendal Industrial Estate (KIK) of 1,000 hectares (ha). This year is expected to be developed with an area of 50 ha to 100 ha.

Currently, Jababeka also has a land area of 1,500 ha in Tanjung Lesung but has no plans to increase land in the area.

"Tanjung Lesung is a tourist industry with 1,500 ha of resort land," he added.

Do not stop there, Jababeka also interested to develop the property with the concept of Transit Oriented Development (TOD). Currently, he is exploring with other developers to find partners to develop the project.

"The exact place that the train passes, not Cikarang, is still in discussion," he concluded.
